January 2, 2012- Day 16
Good God, it’s been longer than a year since I last updated this blog. But to sum it up in a nutshell:
- I moved back in with my mom (bad idea)
- Got a job working at a Pharmacy/Soda Fountain
- Eventually moved back out and started living with Eric and his sister’s family
- Graduated from high school
- Got a puppy named Willow. She is truly the love of my life.
- My best friend Chase, Eric, Eric’s brother, and our other friend Danny and I created a kickass band
- Got an undercut (it’s grown out now)
- Started going to the University of Alabama in Mobile (had to quit my job when I moved)
- I joined a sorority! (somewhat surprised… but I like it)
- Got a new job at The Shed in Mobile!
- Eric and I broke up (not surprised)
- Made many new friends… I actually HAVE dependable friends now! Well, for the most part
- Had my first lesbian encounter…
- Realized how much I was not please with art and sort of second guessing having it as my major…
- Kind of planning on starting my acting career again… Like for real.
- Crushed on a cute boy that turned out to have a lot more in common than I expected (and he became my boyfriend) :)
- Lost a friend over this boy… However I personally think it doesn’t have to be this way, but anyways…
- Finished my first semester of college
- Dreading the next semester…
Yeah, that’s pretty much it! Crazy how I can sum up the past year in seventeen bullets… Well I’m going to continue doing this journal. It might not be every day, but I’ll do my best. It will be SOMETHING that I can be productive at.
Anywho, I hope this year turns out wonderful to you! And I hope the same for myself…
December 13, 2010- Day 15
Yes, I know it’s been awhile, but in the past month and a half a lot has changed that I must feel the need to update you.
In this time of absence, I have:
- Taken the ACT again
- Been searching for a new job
- Applying for scholarships
- Applying to colleges
- Dressed up as Waldo in my senior class picture
- Finally became official with Eric :)
- Gained weight (probably :b)
- Played my ukulele and sang at an open mic night, and got asked to play a gig!
- Got my car taken away because my mom needed it since her car broke
- Psyched into thinking I might have been pregnant
- Tried a new drug
- And got kicked out of my house by mom, so I’m now living with my grandmother
But not necessarily in that order.
So let’s get back to business, shall we?
So I would catch up with all my days I’ve missed…
BUT I CAN’T FIND MY CAMERA CORD.
UGHHHH WTF
October 24, 2010- Day 14
Came home, only to leave not soon after to go to Blake’s to rehearse for our show! It’s gonna be bawlinnn :) Went back to my aunt’s again, this time, my other aunt joining that came down from Jacksonville! Fell asleep, woke up to leave, now it’s 7:26 and I’m ready to go back to bed. Good night! :D
October 23, 2010- Day 13
ACT was this morning… As you can see from the lovely picture of me I took at seven in the morning before I left. Ah, hopefully I did good! I wasn’t as prepared for this test as I was for the last one, but hopefully I did even better! Afterward I went to Eric’s sister’s to chill with them and Eric’s niece. She so cute :) Then went to the show at Graffiti’s and chilled with Ash and Trang, but couldn’t stay long since I had to leave to babysit, which I didn’t get off til 2 something, but whatev, at least I’m getting paid :) Then after all this crap with my mom, I finally got to see Ewic ;) Such an eventful day…
October 22, 2010- Day 12
Okay, today Eric and I finished our pumpkins (I’ll upload a picture later) and then went and hung out :) Later I met up with my family at my aunt’s. EVERYONE was there (Great-aunt that’s visiting from Arizona and her friend that she lives with, my aunt, my uncles, my uncle’s granddaughter, my grandmother, my mum, and my cousin and his son) and we were celebrating my great-aunt’s and my uncle’s birthday! (The picture is of my great-aunt, obviously.) It was pretty great catching up with my great-aunt considering she hasn’t lived on the coast since hurricane Katrina. But we had a fun time. I even played the ukulele for my great-aunt! Fun, fun, fun… Now for ACT testing tomorrow… ugh.
October 21, 2010- Day 11
Today was allllright! Thought I got in trouble for skipping (even though I can’t really get in trouble for leaving campus, since I have an off-campus permission form since I’m in Yearbook) but I really needed to move my car since it was in an Administrator Parking Lot. I mean it’s not my fault there’s no freakin’ spots! But whatever… Anyways, I found out my class rank today also. Quite frankly I’m disappointed. I have a really good Academic and Weighted GPA, yet my rank isn’t anything too special. Maybe it’s because there’s too many smart people in my class, or maybe it’s because of the whole International Baccalaureate crap that fucked it all up. Oh, well… Guess I’ll just strive to make it higher. At least I’m in the top 100 :)
Eric and I started carving our pumpkins today! We didn’t finish… They look really good though! We went for a more 3D look… If that makes any sense. I’ll post a picture up of when they’re finished. Mine’s the Cheshire Cat from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, and Eric’s reminds me of a baby :b They look aweshummm.
I had to stop it short since we had a family dinner at McElroy’s. My great-aunt who’s been living in Arizona with her lifelong friend since after Hurricane Katrina has come to visit. My mum’s cousin (Idk what his relation to me would be called) and his wife came to visit us from… Virginia, I think? Anyway, a bunch of the family came and it was a lot of fun. I’ve missed my great-aunt :( We used to live right next to each other before the hurricane… I was so mean to her :( I regret being that way. But we had a good talk, and I’m happy about that!
Afterward, Eric came back over, and watched Skins with me :) He came back from his sister’s with a homemade chocolate-chip cookie and a Fresca! Yummmm. About Skins… I’m kind of skeptical about the US version. Especially with it being on MTV. I honestly don’t know if the average television-watching American audience will appreciate it as much. I mean, not many straight guys in today’s society hang out with or even associate with gay guys (Ex: Maxie) but we’ll see how this goes… By the way, I think the US Syd is foineee! ;)
October 20, 2010- Day 10
I’m finally at my tenth post! It seems much longer than that… Today was a normal day. It was pretty lazy, also. Went to my mum’s classroom to read again, and found out I was going to babysit one of her students Saturday. I came home expecting to finish the sign on Photoshop, clean my room, vaccuum, and do my homework. I’ve only vacuumed, finished the sign, and cleaned the dishes. I stayed on the computer most of the time. I think it’s because of all the internet awareness of Gay Awareness Day. It’s great to see all who care. However, there were some people who had a thing or two to say about it, and yes I do agree on some things. For example, people didn’t think it was fair that there’s a day for people who have taken their own lives because they were bullied because of their sexuality. Sure there are many other people who have committed suicide because of their race, religion, or any other circumstance. And so be it, let them have their own day too. Who says they can’t? By the way, I wish tumblr would stay purple :b But anyways, I hope I get more accomplished tomorrow.
By the way, my dog’s pup opened his eyes today, which is why I’ve included him in my picture :)
October 19, 2010- Day 9
Yeah, I’m quite the procrastinator. Today is actually the 20, but I’m writing about what happened yesterday… yeah, you get the point.
School was… school. During lunch, I went to my mum’s class and read to her students. Dey sho cute! Then went back to school, and help do the sign up for Trunk or Treat (An event our high school does every year where juniors and seniors park in one of our parking lots to hand out candy from the backs of their cars to the students from one of the district’s elementary schools that is across the street. Groups of kids do themes and what-not, so it’s pretty neat.) since it is the responsibility of class officers (I’m class secretary) to put this event together. Anyways, I won’t go too into detail, but basically one of our principals got her panties in a wad over us signing the students up a specific way. Another class officer and I saw her from across the cafeteria gossiping to the faculty (extremely pathetic) and even got another principal to come up and look shocked/appalled at what we were doing. …Really?! Sorry to all the elders out there, but our generation has wised up since you were young. The class officer’s system was much more efficient than hers, it was simply not “her way” that upset her, I’m sure of it. Apparently the other principal who came up later said that I was “not a good class officer” since I “disrespected her,” which I’m sure is just because I said something she didn’t want to hear. Adults these days, sooooo ignorant. No wonder our country sucks.
But anyways, Eric and I went back to my mum’s classroom so he could help me with my homework (what a nice guy) and we ate… hence my picture. I also stretched my ears up to fours, woohoo! (Yeah, I know it’s not big at all, but it’s my third time stretching my ears, so bear with me.) Then Eric and I went to see Jackass 3D! God, was it funny. I think I will always have a crush on Steve-O, Johnny, and Bam.
October 18, 2010- Day 8
Today was… Monday, bleh. It wasn’t too bad though! I just had school, but I felt like I had an accomplished day. Signed up for the ACT Course, and since I forgot to register for the ACT this weekend, I’m going to try and be a Standby :) And I got my permission form for the College Fair! After school I worked on my art project. I like to paint on boxes, if you didn’t see from the picture. Today I just spraypainted on the base color. I hope it turns out good! Then I went to Choir rehearsal, and now I’m here, wasting away my time before I go babysit one of my mum’s students. Big monaaayyy ;) Yeah, right.
